Due to an issue with the game reward mechanism from a third-party partner, a player obtained 390,000 MBOX in the hot wallet from MOBOX Platform through vulnerabilities.
We have fixed the issue and have communicated with the partners to strengthen measures related to risk prevention.
Please note that all funds and MOBOX contracts are safe. Most of the funds from MOMO farm are stored in the smart contract and are decentralized. The hot wallet contains only a small amount of MOBOX assets, and the remaining more than 99 % of the assets are stored in the smart contracts and are safe.
The MOBOX team will implement a security audit of the game code and contracts immediately.
We have been in touch with MEXC and have had a positive response. If we get back the stolen assets, we will send the funds to the buyback pool.
The related losses caused will be FULLY paid by the MOBOX team, and the BOX wallet charging / withdraw service will return to normal within 12 hours.
